Salford- based community regeneration specialist Bramall Construction has strengthened its business development team by appointing a new Business Development Executive.

Claire Nangle, who lives in North Manchester, will be responsible for driving forward business development opportunities as part of her new role.

Claire has 20 years experience of working in the housing sector and hopes to use her current role to help Bramall sustain and grow business activity in its current and new geographical areas. Bramall Construction operates in the North West, Cumbria and Wales.

“I am delighted to be working for Bramall Construction and to be part of the business development team,” she said.

“One of the main aspects of my job I’m bound to find most rewarding is developing new ideas and approaches with clients, as I’ve had a lot of experience in this area.

“I chose to work for Bramall Construction as the company is very diverse and has done so much in different neighbourhoods across the North West and North Wales. The company really makes a difference to people’s lives”

Prior to joining Bramall Construction, Claire worked as a Senior Regeneration Manager for Opal Property Group and was previously Senior Business Development Manager for Gleeson Regeneration Ltd. She was an elected member at Manchester City Council for 12 years and carried out a variety of roles which include acting as an Executive Member for Finance and Human Resources and Chair of the Housing Committee.

Her expertise also extends to acting as a Non Executive Director of Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and a Non Executive Director of Manchester Airport Group plc.

Dave Prescott, Bramall’s Managing Director, said: “I am delighted to announce Claire’s appointment. Her vast experience in housing means she will be a real asset to the team when it comes to winning new business.

“Claire has the added benefit of being an experienced bid writer who has excellent links with the housing ,education and health sectors. This will prove invaluable as we take the business forward and break new geographical ground.

“I wish Claire all the very best in her new role.”
