Residents of Montpellier House are feeling much warmer after social housing fenestration specialist Total Glass installed new high-performance PVC-U windows and doors at the New Brighton retirement complex overlooking the River Mersey.

The 70mm rosewood on white casement windows feature pull-cord trickle vents for convenience and replace ageing timber windows in the 44 flats managed by Guinness Northern Counties Housing Association.

Total Glass, an accredited member of Profile 22’s Approved Commercial Manufacturer scheme, also provided modern, secure and thermally-efficient PVC-U fire escape doors for the 22-year-old property.

“Residents have certainly noticed the better heat retention and this will be welcomed in lower energy bills,” comments Warden Maria Clarke. “The installation teams did a really good job and everyone is delighted with the excellent quality of their windows.”

With a proven track record within the social housing sector, Total Glass offers a full partnership service to clients and is one of only three British Fenestration Ratings Council-registered suppliers of ‘A’-rated windows in Merseyside.
