News from Soha Housing
4 February 2010
Soha Housing has appointed two new Board members.
The £27.5m turnover registered social landlord is based in
Didcot and is led by Soha tenant Carole Burchett. Together they
oversee the management of some 5,200 homes across Oxfordshire and
beyond. Even in these straitened times, the company has built 417
new homes in three years.
Valerie Austin, MBA has an IT background, her previous experience including senior executive management positions at the Automobile Association, RAC plc, and Biffa Waste Management Services. At the latter, she was involved in Customer Relationship Management initiatives.
Peter Miller-Smith comes to Soha from a background in business and leadership development with MSM Coaching, which he has headed for eight years, and 25 years with the 3M corporation where he was a Sales and Marketing expert. Peter says he is glad to be using his expertise to “give something back to the local community as my clients, including a major London housing association, take me all over the country.”
