Close harmony vocalists (from left) Laura, Amy and Sophie Lee of Wallingford won the Soha Housing Youth Talent Contest on Thursday. Wallingford was further represented in the prize line-up with Jack Barnes and Peter Griffin, who together make up Banjo Cat, coming second with their satirical skiffle act.

The Soha Housing Youth Talent Contest took place here at Cornerstone Arts Centre a week ago.  The housing association (the biggest in South Oxfordshire) organised the contest to find out about the interests and concerns of young residents; to showcase their gifts in the performing, visual and written arts; and to give them and their talent the platform to flourish and grow.
