The cost of inclusive toileting is being safeguarded at Total Hygiene.

The company, manufacturer of the top-selling Clos-o-Mat automatic ‘wash and dry’ toilet, has announced it is bucking the trend and holding 2008 prices for the foreseeable future, against inflation rates of over 2% and competitor price increases over the past year of almost double that. The only change will be the application of the Government’s VAT increase, from 15% to 17.5%.

Mark Sadler, Total Hygiene national sales manager, elaborated, “We always maintain we are a considerate company, and have made a decision not to follow inflation and increase prices. Our research shows that inevitably budgets, especially among local authorities in the supply of adaptations and relevant equipment for the elderly and disabled, remain under pressure.

The price hold applies to Total Hygiene’s brand-leading WRAS approved Clos-o-Mat Palma ‘wash and dry’ toilet. The product is uniquely supported by comprehensive nationwide in-house design, installation, commissioning and maintenance. Full details of the Palma, and Total Hygiene’s range of accessible toileting solutions, are available on the company’s website www.clos-o-mat.com
