More women arrested for violence

New statistics have found that a record number of women were
arrested for violent offences during one year than ever before.
In 2007/08, 88,139 women were arrested for violent offences,
which equates to 250 every day. During the same period, the number
of men arrested for violent crimes fell by 10,000.
