Homeless Link, the national umbrella organisation for frontline homelessness organisations is delighted to announce the appointment of Ann Skinner as Chair. She replaces Simon Wilson who steps down in January after 5 years in the role. Ms Skinner leads a challenging regional agenda in the Department of Health within the Social Care and Partnerships Team with responsibility for Socially Excluded Adults. Prior to this she was a Commissioner in LB Lambeth where she lead on the development of strategic commissioning within Lambeth’s Local Area Agreement.

Jenny Edwards, Chief Executive of Homeless Link, said, “Ann’s considerable experience working in senior management in local government and the voluntary sector will be a real advantage in the context of current changes in national and local policy and practice. We are very excited about her appointment and look forward to working with her on policy issues, building partnerships and maximising business opportunities”

Ann Skinner said, “I am particularly passionate in taking forward new ideas and working to achieve service improvement and improved outcomes for socially excluded client groups. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the members, management team and staff of such a well-respected and dynamic voluntary sector organisation.”
