Liverpool Housing Trust (LHT) Customer Service Centre, part of Vicinity Group, has scooped the Customer Service Contact Centre of the Year (under 100 seats) category in the National Customer Service Awards

These awards celebrate the effort and impact of excellent customer service on the customer and business. Over 1200 business leaders and guests attended the National Customer Service Awards, held at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London, celebrating the success of the UK’s most deserving customer service superheroes in 2009.

Diane Evans, LHT CSC Manager said: “This is a fantastic achievement for us as a team, and is as a result of many years hard work and commitment from everyone involved both within the CSC and other parts of LHT. We’ve received recognition for the excellent work we do both at a local and national level and I’m over the moon to be a part of this success. Our challenge now is to maintain and continue to build on these excellent standards for our customers in the future.”
The National Customer Service Awards state: "13 companies and 10 individuals were rewarded for their contributions to customer service over the past 12 months and considering the calibre and sheer volume of entrants this year, this was no mean feat.

This national event is the most renowned and hotly contested awards programme in the customer service calendar. The programme recognises organisations who have taken a unique approach to overcoming major challenges to achieve success, while maintaining the respect of their peers, co-workers and employees".

Don Hales, Founder and Chairman of Judges said: “From an outstanding group of finalists, the team from Liverpool Housing Trust won the category for their sheer passion for meeting customer needs and going that extra mile. Above all they demonstrated that this was a real team effort, involving everyone, and not just an outstanding leader with some good deputies.”
David Lambert, LHT Managing Director added: "We are really proud of LHT's Customer Service Centre. They keep on improving year after year, excelling in their work and setting increasingly high standards for themselves which translate into excellent service for our customers."
