Children from St Andrews the Apostle Primary School in Halewood
gave residents a Christmas treat recently.
Residents at KHT Sheltered Scheme in Fairview Park, Halewood, were
given an audience with local school children and were entertained
with Carol singers in a festive afternoon.
The residents, all aged over 55 years old enjoyed the session and
were suitably impressed with the choir with one resident describing
their singing as; "wonderful".
It also gave the children the opportunity to meet some of
Halewood’s older generation as they found out a lot about the
history of the area.
KHT paid for the mini bus which St Andrews school used and Customer
Involvement officer Hayley Summers said:
"The afternoon was a real success and everyone really got into the
festive spirit."
