Riverside Home Ownership has launched a new website to make it even easier for first-time buyers to take that all important first step onto the property ladder.

Carol Lavender, Director of Riverside Home Ownership, said: “The new website is a lot more user friendly.

“Buying your first home is a daunting enough prospect but with so many options to choose from HomeBuy Direct or New Build HomeBuy to Rent to HomeBuy buyers can easily get confused by the jargon.

“We’ve simplified the process by applying the principles of shopping for groceries in a supermarket to shopping for a house. We have also introduced a virtual first-time buyer couple to guide buyers through the three-step process of picking your house, choosing how you want to pay then completing the transaction.”

To enable would-be buyers to easily search for a new home we have introduced a map marking out current and upcoming developments and if buyers can’t find what they’re looking for they can register for email alerts to notify them when a development comes up in their area.

As well as targeting potential new customers, the new website also features a Residents Information Centre for existing customers. This includes information on service charges, how to buy a bigger share or sell your home and guides on your rights and responsibilities plus details of Riverside’s policies and procedures. It also contains details on how residents can influence Riverside’s services and get involved in a way which suits them.

There is also an Agents and Advisors zone which features a guide to our products, information on how to refer customers to Riverside and details on how to join Riverside’s panel of recommended agents and advisors.

For more information visit the new website for yourself at www.riversidehomeownership.org.uk or call Riverside Home Ownership on 0845 155 9029 or 0345 155 9029.
