Riverside Home Ownership scooped two gongs at the Your Move Property Awards.

Sevenoaks in the Housing Market Renewal area of Rock Ferry in Wirral won the Best Affordable Development award and Kensington Square in Kensington won the Regeneration award.

Both developments have been completed in partnership by Riverside, affordable housing developer Lovell and Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder NewHeartlands.

Carol Lavender, Director of Riverside Home Ownership, said: “Building on our success at the Housing Excellence Awards when Riverside was crowned Social Landlord of the Year and also won the Customer Service Award, we are delighted to be able to add two more accolades to our portfolio.”

Brendan Nevin, Managing Director of NewHeartlands, said: “We are delighted these developments in the Housing Market Renewal areas have featured so highly at the awards. It’s very encouraging considering the level of hard work from all partners to make them a success.”

Lovell regional director Nigel Yates added: “It’s a pleasure to see the high quality standards at these two developments built by Lovell in partnership with Riverside recognised by this latest awards success.”

Sevenoaks is a mixed tenure development of which 15 properties are available for shared ownership through Riverside Home Ownership, 45 for affordable rent through Riverside and 223 for open market sale from Lovell.

Shared ownership properties start from less than £24,000 for a 25% share. Lovell is offering two-bedroom bungalows and two and three-bedroom houses starting from as little as £115,950.

Located within the Kensington New Deal for Communities area, the Liverpool Housing Market Renewal Initiative (HMRI) area and the Wavertree Zone of Opportunity, Kensington Square is a £17.5 million regeneration project of 145 new homes. Two and four-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom houses are available from Lovell from just £94,950.

Riverside was also shortlisted in the Best Affordable Homes category at the Your Move Property Awards or Rossiter Drive at the established Beechwood development in the Upton part of Wirral.
