Bob Hingston has been elected Chair of Three Valleys Housing.

Bob is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, with 40 years’ experience in the housing sector at senior manager, director and deputy CEO level.

The housing and regeneration consultant said: “Having been a previous member of the Three Valleys Housing Board, I feel privileged to be taking on the exciting and challenging role of Chair. The organisation has strong leadership and massive potential. I look forward to working closely with the Chief Executive and his new ambitious team of Directors to help it achieve its goals.

“My top priority is to help ensure we continue to improve the level of service we provide to our customers, as well as keeping over 5,000 TVH homes in a sound and comfortable condition. The association is in a healthy financial position which means we can look to the future with confidence.”

Paul Eastwood, Chief Executive, said: “Bob Hingston is one of the most experienced, well-known and highly regarded senior practitioners in the housing sector. His passion for excellence will stand us in good stead as we take TVH to the next level.”

Three Valleys Housing manages 5,800 homes in and around Long Eaton, Ilkeston and Sandiacre. The organisation was established in March 2002 to take ownership of housing stock transferred from Erewash Borough Council.

It is one of the largest housing associations in Derbyshire. Through its nationally-accredited Carelink Centre, it also supports 13,000 vulnerable people across the East Midlands, West Midlands and Lancashire.
