More from Moat

Families looking for an affordable home should make an appointment to visit Moat’s open day on Tuesday 24 November between 12pm and 4pm at Bridgefield in Ashford, Kent. Bridgefield, developed by Persimmon Homes, comprises 30 x two, three, four and five bedroom houses with shares available from as little as 25%. There are only 2 x four bedroom houses remaining and a 25% share in one of these is available from a staggeringly low £47,500. It is unusual to find four bedroom houses available on a part buy/part rent basis so interested buyers should get in contact with Moat’s sales and marketing team immediately!

That is exactly what Peter Turnbull and his wife Debbie did earlier this year. They were living in a three bedroom house in Bermondsey, London when they found Bridgefield on an internet search. With three children under the age of ten and another on the way, they’d decided that it was time to find a home with room for their young family to grow.

They purchased 60% of a £260,000 five bedroom house and moved into their new home, in October of this year. Their house is more than big enough for the whole family. It has a garden for the children to play in, two living rooms and enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space. Bridgefield is peaceful and safe. The homes are beautifully designed and are all a little different which creates a real village feel to the community.

Peter says; “We knew that our old house wouldn’t be big enough for much longer. When we decided to look in the Ashford area, we never dreamed we could find and afford a five bedroom house. Now we have a spacious new house, in an area where our son can go for a bike ride round the neighbourhood, safely - something he could never have done at our old place! We’re really pleased and very excited about welcoming the new arrival to our home.”

To book an appointment at the open day or for more information about Bridgefield, please contact Moat’s sales and marketing team on 0845 359 6161 or visit www.moat.co.uk.
