As ‘whole life’ costs become an increasing consideration in both new-build and refurbishment housing programmes, Contour Showers is giving added assurance over cost-effective creation of modern bathrooms.

Contour, the leading manufacturer of shower solutions and the only British shower trays supplier to manufacture in the UK, has introduced a lifetime guarantee for all its level access, low entry and step-in shower trays, including its entire range of shower enclosure doors, wetfloor formers & ‘stand-alone’ shower cubicles.

“Contour shower trays, floors, doors and cubicles are already designed to maximise suitability for lifetime housing, regardless of the occupant’s changing ability and mobility, and are proven to offer benefits of ease of installation with little- or no- maintenance,” says Contour’s Commercial Director Kevin Bower. “The addition of a lifetime guarantee reinforces the logic of using Contour products, which yield optimum value for money and reduce whole life costs.”

The lifetime guarantee compliments Contour’s existing, unique feature of Microban® anti-bacterial protection incorporated in all of the company’s shower trays: the treatment, which also lasts the lifetime of the tray, is proven to create a surface hostile to microbes and which inhibits growth of bacteria- including MRSA and listeria monocytogenes.

Contour Showers (www.contour-showers.co.uk) celebrates this year 50 years of manufacturing and supplying value-for-money shower solutions to the majority of local authorities, housing associations and contractors, as well as health clubs, care homes and hospitals. Contour is the UK’s largest supplier in the special needs field, and the only one to manufacture its range of shower traysand shower doors in Britain, predominantly using recycled materials and with most of its products in turn being 100% recyclable.
