Knowsley Housing Trust (KHT) is launching a new scheme to help first time buyers.

The Trust is introducing a Rent to Buy scheme at its new build development at Camberley Drive in Halewood, Merseyside.

The scheme will help first time buyers to purchase their own home and get onto the property ladder, by paying less than market rent as they save towards owning their own home.

The new build development contains 13 properties and 5 of them will be available on the Rent To Buy scheme in early 2010 when building will be completed.

Each 3-bedroom house has gas central heating, kitchen & dining area and patio doors. The energy friendly properties will also include solar water heating panels to the roof, rainwater butts and feature electric showers, smoke alarms and heat detectors.
