Prescot had a ‘Wiked’ time at South Avenue after raising over £300 for Breast Cancer Care.

Four Seasons Resident Group based at Knowsley Housing Trust’s (KHT) sheltered scheme in South Avenue, Prescot had the idea to bring the community together with an event to remember aimed to raise money for charity.

Local dance group ‘Wiked’ were the star attractions after putting on a show that wowed the crowd. Kids from 5 to 16 years old danced and entertained over 200 people who showed their support for this cause.

Resident Group secretary Sheila Bennett was delighted with the day:

“It was wonderful to see so many generations of our community coming together to show their support for this cause. It shows the community spirit is alive and well here in Prescot and we raised a fantastic amount for Breast Cancer Care too.”

After the dance performed, residents were treated to strawberries and cream tea, a raffle and bingo to ensure everyone had a ‘Wiked’ day.
