More from Regenda Housing Group

Hundreds of people living in the Merseyside area have been welcomed into the Regenda Group – their new landlord.

Nearly 200 properties, based across six schemes, from across Aigbeth and Wavertree have been successfully transferred into the ownership of the Regenda Group from Servite Housing Association, who have withdrawn from the Merseyside area.

The Regenda Group and Servite have worked in consultation with the residents over a number of months to ensure a smooth transition and handover of landlord in July.

The new residents joining Regenda will now not only benefit from a local based neighbourhood team who provide excellent resource and facilities but also from our central customer service centre who will be able to answer all their needs.

The Regenda Group manages over 4,000 properties in the Merseyside area and the transfer not only emphasises our presence in Liverpool but the commitment to both existing and new customers in the area.

Steve Newsham, Regional Director at The Regenda Group said: “We are delighted to welcome our new residents into the group and hope that they soon feel part of our local community. To ensure they are settling in with the Group, I will be holding regular ‘coffee mornings’ with the local residents to hear what they have to say about how they can influence the services we provide to them.

We have a strong customer base and service provision in Merseyside and this transfer to our group demonstrates our commitment to investing in our local neighbourhoods.

I would also like to thank the staff at Servite Housing Association, whom I have worked closely with to ensure a smooth transfer to the Regenda Group.”

Jeanette Edmondson, Scheme Manager at St Peter’s Court said after the transfer; “At first I was a little apprehensive, but now I feel more settled as I have had a lot of support and feedback from Regenda - I feel much happier. I am looking forward to the future challenges working with the group.”
