Come along to an Orbit First Step open event and be among the first to see three brand new and affordable 2-bedroom houses which have just been launched at the prestigious Chapel Walk development in Bexhill-on-Sea. The event is taking place on Saturday 18 July between 10am and 3pm.

As well as having the opportunity to view the properties and talk to Orbit First Step’s friendly and knowledgeable staff about the low-cost home ownership options available to them, all visitors will be able to enter a free prize draw to win a £50 shopping voucher.

An independent financial advisor Mark Singleton will also be on hand to provide free, no-obligation advice if required.
The homes are available from £38,750 under Orbit First Step’s New Build HomeBuy scheme which enables people to purchase a share of the property. Most purchasers will need to raise a mortgage to purchase their share and then pay a discounted rent on the remaining share. They can also purchase additional shares in the future, if they wish, until they own the property outright – just as if they had purchased with a traditional mortgage.
If you have a household income of around £18,500 you should be able to afford one of these houses. And what’s more, they come equipped with a range of white goods, which will save you money when you first move in. A fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and cooker hood; and a freestanding fridge-freezer and washing machine are all included in the price. The houses also feature a downstairs cloakroom, white bathroom suite with overbath shower, a rotary dryer, a digital loft aerial, garden shed and allocated parking.

Combining the benefits of living by the seaside with those of the country, Chapel Walk is situated on the outskirts of Bexhill town centre and approximately half a mile from the local shops. The development benefits from having a number of primary and secondary schools within a five mile radius and the local train station is approximately one mile away. Regular trains run from Bexhill railway station to London Victoria for those who need to commute to the capital.

Orbit First Step’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Diane Webster said: “Affordable homes in Bexhill are hard to come by but these properties offer a really viable proposition for those looking to get onto the property ladder. However, there are only three of them available and we don’t expect them to be on the market for long so if you are looking to buy a home in the area we would urge you to come along to our event. We are able to help a wide variety of people – individuals, couples and families – whether they are first time buyers, Key Workers or other people who have experienced difficulties purchasing a home. You’ve got nothing to lose by coming along and having an informal chat with us but you have your dream home to gain – it could be the best move you’ve ever made.”

If you are interested in the properties available at Chapel Walk but are unable to attend the event, or if you would like to find out about other affordable homes at alternative locations in the region, please call Orbit First Step’s sales team on 03458 50 20 50 or visit www.orbitfirststep.org.uk.
