Homeless Link and Resource Information Service (RIS) are delighted to announce that they have merged with effect from 1 April 2009. This move will enhance the capability of both organisations to create a knowledge centre and online community that will assist frontline homelessness agencies and statutory bodies.

The merged organisation will be called Homeless Link. Jenny Edwards, Chief Executive of Homeless Link, will lead the merged organisation.

Jenny Edwards said, “This is an exciting time for Homeless Link. We aim to draw on the strengths of the new organisation to achieve greater impact for organisations supporting rough sleepers and homeless people. Over the months ahead our task is to develop new areas of work that will support our members, achieve efficiencies and contribute to ending homelessness.”
