Dyson Behind PeopleServe Expansion
Leading jobs and training provider PeopleServe has appointed a
new Contracts Director to steer forward business change as the
enterprise expands from being a regional to a national
provider.
Andrew Dyson joins the organisation from JISC (Joint Information
Systems Committee) where he worked as a Programme Director,
responsible for technology supported business change.
The 44-year-old will now be based at PeopleServe’s head office in Chaplin Court, Birmingham.
The company operates from eleven centres across the West Midlands.
Andrew will be responsible for managing PeopleServe’s contracts with Job Centre Plus and the Learning and Skills Council as well as apprenticeships, Train to Gain and Skills for Jobs.
Andrew, a father of three from Burntwood, Lichfield said: “To date, we have been predominantly working in the Midlands but are now expanding nationally.
“We are already employing people in the east midlands and Middlesborough. With a strong background in business change I feel I can contribute significantly.”
Before joining JISC, Andrew spent more than fifteen years working in colleges in the varying roles of Assessor, Trainer, Project Manager and E-Learning Manager.
“We are currently concentrating on upskilling our learners in order to maximise their employability. With a wealth of hands-on experience in the public sector as a Trainer and Project Manager myself, I have the benefit of first hand experience.
“In my role as Contracts Director I am looking forward to facing exciting challenges ahead as we move forward nationally.”
Kay Sutton, MD of PeopleServe, said: “Andrew’s appointment as Contracts Director is key as we embrace growth opportunities in the UK and beyond.
“His experience and success in this sector is impressive and we are very fortunate to have secured someone of Andrew’s calibre in this role.”
PeopleServe helps thousands of people to acquire new skills through tailor-made training programmes, enabling them to enter the job market.
The business, formerly known as Biscom, was recently rebranded
as PeopleServe following acquisition by American-based ResCare Inc,
one of the world’s largest human service providers. Employing
42,000 people, ResCare has operations in 39 American states as well
as in Canada, Haiti, Bahrain, the Netherlands and Germany.
