Adactus Housing Association has provided funding to help a local school reward students achieving 100% attendance. The housing association donated £300 to Rose Bridge High School in Wigan which has been used to provide prizes for the students with the best record of attendance last year.

The donation was accepted by Mr Pendlebury, the schools’ Headteacher on 16th September from Adactus’ Neighbourhood Development Officer Ruth Mycock.

Paul Heaton, Regional Housing Manager at Adactus Housing Association said “Adactus is delighted to be able to make a positive contribution to the school’s ongoing improvement, whilst at the same time helping to recognise the student’s hard work over the previous academic year.”

Mr Pendlebury at Rose Bridge High School said: ‘I am delighted to receive the gift which will be used to award prizes for students and families making an outstanding effort at school.’
Adactus Housing Association, which has its head office in Leigh, manages approximately 700 properties in the Wigan area.

Both Adactus and Rose Bridge High School hope to build on their developing partnership for the benefit of the whole community.
