Executive Coaching is now offered as an option with every training course at Media Friendly.

This helps to ensure that what is learnt on the course, is acted on back in the workplace.

A recent media training client took up the offer " I found it extremely helpful and am already putting into practice some of the advice I received. I have also told my senior colleagues here that they could also benefit from such coaching.Hopefully, they will accept my invitation!"

We all have frustrating days, whether you are a Regional Sales Manager, a Head Teacher or a Director of a multi-national organisation. Who do you turn to when you're not achieving your targets, your team is not performing, you simply feel overwhelmed and can't see the wood for the trees?

Maybe you don't want to share your concerns with your boss, your colleagues or your partner - after all, you can cope, can't you?

Some large organisations provide counselling for employees who are suffering from stress, but if you are stressed because of your heavy workload and deadlines are looming (because you can’t manage your time effectively), you need coaching, not counselling.

So what’s the difference between counselling, coaching and mentoring?Counselling is for deep emotional issues such as bereavement, divorce or depression, where you need to talk through and unravel issues with a trained counsellor. A Mentor is someone in your line of business with the experience to act as a role model or sounding board, offering advice based on their knowledge.Working with a coach isn't about having a sounding board, a coach won’t tell you what to do.Performance Coaching is for professionals, executives and leaders who recognise that they want to achieve more.

Coaching provides confidential support and development for those who are prepared to take action to get what they really want, giving you an awareness of your potential, your motivations, your strengths and development needs.

Working with a coach gives you the space to step back and look at your world from a new perspective, enabling you to see what's working and what's not, challenging you to find the solutions to achieve the results you want.
