Rochdale Boroughwide Housing holds photo competition for residents
Rochdale Boroughwide Housing has held a photography competition for its residents to encourage them to explore their community and describe what makes it special for them.
The photographs from winner Peter Lord were taken walking along Rochdale canal and show some of the beauty and tranquillity of the region.
Sue Kershaw, from Rochdale Boroughwide Housing said: “We run this competition every year to encourage any budding photographers to get involved and produce some thing that can be shown to future generations to describe what the community is like.”
Arts and Heritage centre Touchstones Rochdale will archive the winning photos and they will also be used in Rochdale Boroughwide Housing’s 2009 calendar.
