More from Herefordshire Housing Ltd

Herefordshire Housing is changing! We are moving forward and making huge improvements to the way we work and the services we provide to our customers.

As part of this change we have appointed a new Director of Resources, Richard Woolley. Richard’s role is much more than just managing our finances, he will be at the forefront of driving improvements in all areas of the Company. He will champion efficiency and implement strategy which values teamwork, customer focus and continuous improvement with a passion for diversity. Richard will also contribute to ensuring that Herefordshire Housing’s homes and service delivery meet the highest standards.

Richard has a wide experience of Social Housing and joins us from a successful organisation, Sanctuary Housing Group which manages 70,000 homes. Whilst at Sanctuary Richard was the Groups Chief Accountant and was instrumental in leading improvements which genuinely benefitted residents, including making it easier for customers to pay their rent and making the Company more efficient.

Prior to working at Sanctuary Richard was Finance Manager for 3 years at Hightown Praetorian Housing Association in Hemel Hempstead and a founder member of the Finance Team at Mid-Bedfordshire Housing Association.

Richards experience will benefit residents of Herefordshire Housing, especially during this period of economic uncertainty as we strive to provide outstanding services to residents, which represent the best possible value for money.

“I was keen to join an organisation where I could use my experience to really add value, so I am delighted to have joined Herefordshire Housing at a time when major plans are in place that will see the quality of housing really improve for residents over the next five years”, Richard Woolley, Director of Resources.
