Award for Liverpool Housing Trust Customer Service Centre
Liverpool Housing Trust (LHT), part of Vicinity Group, has won yet another award. Their Customer Service Centre (CSC) scooped the CallNorthWest, Contact Centre of the Year award 2008, under
50 seats category.
Judges commented that: "The winning contact centre stood out significantly” and described the team’s enthusiasm as “electric”.
The accolade was awarded for the Centre’s commitment to the highest standards of service to customers and colleagues, aligned to organisational objectives and for excellent processes and
practices which ensure continuous improvement.
The award also focused on staff motivation and commitment in a people-orientated workplace.
Of the team members, Tom Kirby, director of CallNorthWest said: “It was clear to see the passion for customers, colleagues and employees – it’s not just a job, they are making a
real difference to people’s lives.”
David Lambert, LHT managing director stated: “Our Customer Service Centre has had a really strong impact on our business objectives and has been pivotal in the high standard of excellence
that is being achieved, endorsed by the government standard of Customer Service Excellence awarded to LHT earlier this year.”
“We are delighted that the effort that is put in by each and every member of staff in delivering excellent service to our customers has been recognised through this triumph.”
LHT CSC manager, Diane Evans added: “LHT’s Customer Service Centre celebrated their 10th anniversary this year and we are really proud of our excellent performance and the methodology
that we have put in place to meet customer requirements.
"This award really is the icing on our 10th birthday cake.”
Liverpool Housing Trust is the first RSL to win this award. The CSC were also finalists in the National Customer Service Awards in the category Customer Service Contact Centre of the Year (up
to 100 seats) and were highly commended for team of the year.
