Local residents living in Pinnacle-managed estates have triumphed at this year's Lambeth Estates in Bloom competition.

Arlington Lodge, in Brixton Hill, won the Overall Winner of Estates in Bloom 2008, as well as scooping the Best Kept Estate award and the Best Community Garden award categories. Pinnacle residents winning streak didnt stop there, as Norwood Road won Best Sheltered Housing Garden and Dykes Court winning second place in the Community Garden category.

Pinnacle manages estates across London and the UK, and has worked with the borough of Lambeth since 2003. Each year, Pinnacle works in partnership with estate residents to support their entries into the annual Estates in Bloom competition.

Mrs Irena Kowalewska, the Secretary of Arlington Lodge Residents Association, received the prizes on behalf of her estate at a gala award ceremony held at Lambeth Town Hall on 24 September. She said: "We are over the moon. It would not have been possible for us to achieve this success on our own Pinnacles support and help played a big part in our winning these prizes."

Edyta Busko-Mokone, Contracts Manager for Pinnacle said: "This is an outstanding achievement and one for which residents should be hugely proud. Arlington Lodge has been a regular contender for excellence in this competition each year and now, deservedly, has emerged victorious, winning all of its awards."

Roger OSullivan, Pinnacle's Managing Director for Grounds Maintenance, said: "Pinnacle has a long term commitment to working in partnership with the London Borough of Lambeth now Lambeth Living and with local residents to improve the environment of estates, celebrate the look of the borough and drive up standards of grounds maintenance. Our support for this competition is just one of the ways in which we achieve this. I congratulate all the residents involved and Pinnacles team in Lambeth who have supported them both practically and financially."
