A HOUSING association based in Boston has handed a village youth club a £500 award.
Boston Mayflower gave the cash to Kirton Youth Club to enable youngsters who attend it to benefit from the use of new sports equipment.
The money was presented under the housing association's Community Champions award scheme.
The scheme rewards groups and organisations in the Boston area which perform outstanding work for the local community.
Kirton Youth Club has more than 140 youngsters on its books, aged 8-19, some of who travel in to attend sessions from Fosdyke and Boston.
The youth club runs on Wednesdays and Fridays, and costs 50p per night to attend. For more information call 078 0424 1339.
