Housing charity Shelter has begun a new UK corporate charity partnership with global property adviser DTZ.
The two-year partnership aims to raise £200,000 to support Shelter’s vital work helping homeless and badly housed people across Britain find and keep a decent home.
Over the next two years DTZ employees will take part in various events - from dress down days to marathons - to raise much needed funds for the charity.
Martyn Chase, Chairman, DTZ Community Group, said: “We were impressed by Shelter both as an organisation and its hands on and proactive approach to tackling homelessness and its root
causes.
"With our strong regional network of UK offices we hope to make a real difference for this national charity.”
Adam Sampson, Shelter’s Chief Executive, said: "We are really excited to be working with DTZ on this corporate charity partnership; it is through companies like DTZ that Shelter can help so
many vulnerable people."
The charity partnership kicks off on Wednesday 17 September with a DTZ London Staff Quiz night.
