New Progress Housing Association has been granted an interim Anti Social Behaviour Injunction Order against nuisance tenant Shaun Sweeney.
Deputy District Judge Langley granted the Order, at Preston Crown Court, on August 26, 2008. It orders Sweeney to stop threatening to use violent behaviour whilst causing nuisance, annoyance, alarm and distress to residents on the Wade Hall Estate, Leyland.
Sweeney, who resides in the Blackpool area, left the Wade Hall Estate over 12 months ago but has returned to carry out criminal and anti social behaviour.
Head of Housing Operations for NPHA, Gary Melia, said: The right of our tenants to live in peaceful communities without the threat of violent or nuisance behaviour is a priority and we will always take the appropriate steps to deal with anti social behaviour.
NPHA will continue to work in partnership with the local Leyland Neighbourhood Policing Team to ensure that it takes every step possible to ensure that the right to live in a safe and pleasant
community is not violated by the actions of a small minority of people.
