A new Chairman has been appointed to the Board of Gainsborough-based Housing Association, Acis Group. Roger Buttery, who joined the Board in October 2004 took over the reins from John Jenkinson at the end of July 2008.

Roger has over 40 years experience in both the public and private sectors and is currently the Independent Trustee Director of Hadrian Trustees Limited, the Trustee for the Shipbuilding Industries Pension Scheme. He also serves as a Non Executive Director of Lincolnshire NHS Teaching Primary Care Trust and is a Governor at Lincoln University.

Roger Buttery said: Im delighted to be taking on the role of the Chairman of Acis Group. I believe that the work Acis undertakes across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire makes a real difference to the communities in which we operate, and am delighted to lead the Company at a period of real growth.

John Jenkinson, who was the Chair of Acis Group since September 2003, retired on 17th July 2008.
