New Progress Housing Association has been granted an Anti Social Behaviour
Injunction with the power of arrest attached for its tenant Rachel Hewitt of 61 Kennett Drive, Leyland.
Despite repeated requests from the Association for Hewitt to change her violent
anti social behaviour, she continued to breach her tenancy conditions and cause
fear and misery for her neighbours.
On July 31 2008 Deputy District Judge Bridson, at Preston County Court, awarded the Association an Anti Social Behaviour Injunction with the Power of Arrest attached stating: I am satisfied that the Defendant poses a risk of harm and violence to her neighbours.
Head of Housing Operations for NPHA, Gary Melia, said: The right of our tenants to live in peaceful communities without the threat of violent or nuisance behaviour is a priority and we will always
take the appropriate steps to deal with antisocial behaviour.
