Family firm wins major social housing maintenance contract with RegendaFamily firm wins major social housing maintenance contract with Regenda

Family run firm M&Y Joinery and Building Maintenance Ltd based in Sutton, St Helens, beat off stiff competition from local, national and European companies to undertake a crucial contract to work with The Regenda Group across the North West over the next five years. 

The Regenda Group based in Horwich, Bolton, manages over 13,000 social houses across the North West appointed M&Y Joinery after a undertaking a mammoth tendering process through the stringent Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) which included the highest levels of accountability from evaluation of quality systems, environmental policy, financial aspects, references and site visits.

M&Y Joinery will provide approximately 3,000 of The Regenda Group residents around the Merseyside area with a range of day-to-day maintenance including joinery, plastering, plumbing, groundworks, drainage, electrical work, etc.

The five-year contract will ensure there is consistent and continuous improvement of this vital service for the residents currently living in social housing provided by The Regenda Group.

M&Y Joinery have successfully partnered The Regenda Group for the last 2 years obtaining excellent key performance indicators, providing accurate open book accounting and sustaining confidence in their ability to perform and deliver outstanding service to the group and its residents.
