Invicta Telecares Independence Day annual conference held in a huge marquee in the grounds of its main office in Borough Green lived up to its reputation of being a lively and informative day.
The conference bought together over 100 customers, colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers from more than 60 different organisations, to examine, review and plan how, by working in partnership we can deliver exceptional high quality services to clients.
Interesting presentations flowed throughout the day covering the latest topical developments in technology including Telehealth and the impact on social alarm and Telecare equipment from BT21CN. In addition, delegates were advised on developing an Older Persons Strategy, providing services relevant to all cultures and the importance of service user involvement. The afternoon proved an instant hit as a group of actors played family members caught up in a bitter battle over how their mother, who has dementia, could remain living independently following an accident at home. Delegates were invited to help develop the story reach a successful conclusion.
