Rivers (Hillock) Housing Association, part of the Contour Housing Group, is one of a number of partners that organised a Youth Arts Festival in Bury recently.

The event included DJing, MCing, dancing, graffiti art, jewellery making, sports and fitness and a juice bar and enjoyed huge support from local youths in Bury.

Karen Vickers, Regeneration and Funding Co-ordinator for Contour Housing Group said: "Local residents and a variety of organisations are re-developing Boz Park and to date have raised £120,000. We have just completed a £250,000 Playful Ideas Lottery bid to purchase innovative play equipment for the park, and the Youth Arts Festival is part of an extensive ongoing consultation process to ensure what is delivered meets the needs of local young people.
