Judges at Preston County Court have served Injunction Orders with the Power of Arrest on three nuisance residents after a string of incidents involving criminal damage, intimidating behaviour, and a violent attack on a ten year old child.
Kevin Marshall, age 20 of Buller Avenue, Penwortham, and Lee Browne, 19, of no fixed abode, were served the Injunctions for their part in a campaign of terror by a group of youths on the Kingsfold estate.
The pair are now forbidden from engaging in threatening, abusive or intimidating behaviour including the use of a weapon, causing criminal damage, and the wearing of any clothing that obscures identification.
Marshalls Injunction will remain in force for three years whilst Brownes expires in 2010. The Injunctions also prevent the pair from associating on the estate with Chris Davies, Liam Harris, James Little, Thomas Llewellyn, Dean Sumner, Marcus McDonald, David Nestoruk, Martin Swaine, and each other.
Both face immediate arrest if found to be breaking any of the conditions imposed on them by the Orders.
Another Kingsfold tenant, Joanne Hillman, was also served an Anti-social Behaviour Injunction with the Power of Arrest following a report of a violent attack on a ten-year old child.
The 25-year old mother of three is now prevented from engaging in threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour towards any resident or lawful visitor in the Kingsfold estate for a period of two years.

Hillman, who was charged on 22nd June with the assault and is currently awaiting a Court Hearing, faces immediate arrest if she breaks the terms of her Injunction. She was also ordered to pay costs to New Progress Housing Association of £230.

Said Head of Housing at New Progress Housing Association, Gary Melia:

'We will continue to work with the local police and residents to protect our tenants right to feel safe in their community. Marshall and Browne have both been unwelcome visitors to Kingsfold. This sends a strong message to them and their associates that we take anti-social behaviour extremely seriously and will work to the full extent of the law to prevent any further incidents from occurring.'

Residents with any concerns about the three can contact New Progress Housing Association on 01772 450600 or Crimestoppers on 0845 555 111. All calls will be treated in the strictest confidence.
