Surrey-based housing association, Accent Peerless Limited, recently held its annual Residents’ Conference with a record turnout.

More than 70 delegates attended this year’s event which included workshops, a question and answer session and also a keynote speech from Kevin Kelly, acting Chief Executive.

The day also saw the launch of Peerless’ new Resident Involvement Strategy, which aims to further improve communication between residents and the housing association with increased opportunity for involvement in decision making and feedback.
Delegates had the opportunity to discuss in smaller groups how the new Involvement Strategy will work in greater detail, as well as ask a member of Accent Peerless staff any questions.

Dawn-Kent Payne, Service Development Manager commented: “The Conference has given us a vast amount of valuable information from the people who benefit from our services the most.

"It has been a very successful day and we hope with the new strategy in place that we can continue to hold events such as this on a regular basis.”

Feedback gathered from the event will now be used to continue improving the services Accent Peerless offers to its residents and further highlights its commitment to ensuring it meets residents’ expectations.
