Lee Shostak has been elected as the new Chair of leading planning and housing charity, the Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA).
Lee Shostak said:
"Im delighted to be taking on the role of the Chair of the TCPA. I look forward to helping drive the Association forward. Today, the nation faces the challenge of providing affordable homes for all
in truly sustainable communities. The Association plays a central role in bringing the public, private and third sectors together in agreeing how best to meet this challenge.
Gideon Amos, Chief Executive of the TCPA, said:
"I am pleased that the TCPA will have Lee Shostak as its Chair. He has a strong reputation for working successfully with both the public and private sector, delivering sustainable urban
regeneration and economic development. He brings considerable his experience, including establishing the planning and economic development consultancy Conran Roche (then EDAW) in 1980 and working
as the Director of Planning at Milton Keynes Development Corporation.
Lee Shostak replaces Professor David Lock CBE, who stands down after six years.
