Local toddlers and children from The Avenues and Hollins Estate in Oldham have been busy designing their masterpiece for the Hollinwood Together Festival which takes place in July.
The Festival, which is sponsored by social landlord Contour Homes, is a major event in the Hollinwood social and community calendar and last year local children borrowed a Chinese dragon from elsewhere, however this year they have been far more ambitious.
Shanine Meadowcroft, from social landlord Contour Homes said: Local children spent an entire day working hard with adult volunteers to build their dragon which will be paraded around the streets of
Hollinwood at this years festival and the full dragon will be revealed in all its glory on 13 July.
