Contour Housing Group, one of the North West's largest housing and regeneration organisations, has received top marks from government agency and regulator The Housing Corporation, following a thorough assessment of its services.
Contour Housing received the highest accolade from The Housing Corporation by obtaining four green lights across all categories in the assessment. These were financial viability, governance, management and development.
The organisation provides around 20,000 homes for general rent, sheltered and supported housing, new build homes to buy on a shared ownership basis and leasehold and management services across 27 local authorities in the North West.
Mike Creamer, Chief Executive for Contour Housing Group said: “Naturally we are delighted to have received this excellent assessment which confirms that the company is in great shape.
“The assessment is quite rightly robust and to have received top marks across all areas of our work is a testament to our staff.”
The assessment particularly highlighted Contour Housing Group’s commitment to resident involvement and tenant representation, its profitability and its strong approach to continuous
improvement.
