Twin Valley Homes employee, Jed Sodagar, has been awarded ‘Neighbourhood Worker of the Year’ by Blackburn Police. Jed was presented with his award at a new Community Awards presentation by Inspector Paul Goodall.
‘Neighbourhood Worker of the Year’ is an award to someone from outside the police force who works as a community partner. It recognises individuals for their commitment and dedication to their communities over the last twelve months and Jed is the first winner of this new award.
Jed, who works for Twin Valley Homes as an Anti Social Behaviour Officer, was nominated for the award by the team of Neighbourhood Sergeants.
Inspector Goodall, said: “The award celebrates the good work of neighbourhood teams across Blackburn with Darwen. Jed’s work across a number of estates, liaising with police staff and community partners, has been outstanding and for the betterment of those communities.”
Kevin Ruth, Executive Director of Twin Valley Homes, said: “It’s fantastic that Jed has been recognised by one of our partners for his outstanding contribution to tackling anti-social
behaviour and to improving neighbourhoods.”
