This month - working with a Private Sector Partner

Hi, I'm Karen Wormwell and I want to welcome you to the online radio show for People Managers in the Public Sector. Every month, you can hear interviews with top HR professionals and industry experts, who share their insights on some of the biggest challenges facing HR teams today.

This month is all about working with a Private Sector Partner. I talk to Blackburn with Darwen Council and Cumbria County Council about the benefits and the drawbacks they’ve experienced during the last seven years of working with their respective partnerships.

The key advice they both give is to choose the right partner, have a strong client side, communicate well, review regularly and be flexible.
