Any residents who need advice on housing issues have the chance to attend a Housing Options and Information Fair being organised by Brent Council.
The event on Wednesday, February 13 is being held by Brent Private Housing Forum for all those involved with the private sector in the borough.
Brent Council officers will be on hand to give advice on housing options such as renting in the private sector and moving out of Brent or London.
External advisers and Brent Council officers will also be at the fair to give help on issues such as:
• aids and adaptations to your home;
• Council Tax and Housing Benefit;
• fire prevention;
• houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO);
• safety in the home;
• recycling and street care;
• tenancy advice training for landlords.
Councillor James Allie, Lead Member for Housing and Customer Services, said: "Housing is high on many people's concerns because of its affordability in the borough.
“The fair is an excellent opportunity for people to find out more about what options are open to them and I hope people take this opportunity.
“Furthermore, there is advice for every aspect of housing from landlords who want to rent, improving the safety of your home, and adapting your property."
The event will be taking place from 10.15am-1pm at Brent Town Hall, Forty Lane, Wembley.
