Residents in Moss Side enjoyed the sunshine and activities at a local community summer fun day last Thursday.

Organised by Adactus Housing Association, the fun day saw families and children from across Moss Side come together for a range of workshops, games and activities.

Held on the local basketball court between Crofton Street and Santiago Street in Moss Side, there were kiddies rides and face painting for the youngsters.

Activities also included arts and crafts and gardening workshops.

Older children took part in basketball and DJ workshops which proved extremely popular.

Adactus Housing Association staff were also on hand to offer advice and information about the maintenance and support services Adactus provides.

Stephen Watts, Assistant Area Manager at the Adactus Housing Association local office in Moss Side said, “Everyone had a great time and it was fantastic to see local families and children enjoying the workshops and activities.

“It provided a great opportunity for the community to come together for a fun day in the sun as well as meet Adactus staff and find out more about our services.”
