Climate change is the theme of the National Housing Federation annual conference and exhibition taking place next month.

The conference will focus on the outcomes of the major reviews and their recommendations.

It is taking place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham from September 19 to 21.

An NHF event spokesman said: “This past year has seen a great deal of change and has set the foundations for a new regulation system, a new housing and regeneration agency and, with the Comprehensive Spending Review, a new funding settlement for housing.

“Our 10 year vision is about tackling these challenges against a backdrop of increasing environmental and corporate responsibility. The housing sector is truly in the middle of a once in a generation change. Making the right decisions and managing the challenging times ahead underpin the theme of this year’s event.”
