FSAP 2009 Government Approved and Ready For Use. Stroma Certification's FSAP (Full SAP 2009) software has been developed in-house with the user in mind; it not only facilitates ease of use, but also provides innovative functions, which simplify both the input of data and the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) lodgement process. FSAP 2009 will be fully compliant with the impending Part L 2010 Building Regulation release and the Code for Sustainable Homes.
Earlier in the year Stroma's FSAP 2005 version 1.1.0 was tested by BRE on behalf of Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and Communities and Local Government (CLG) enabling an approval for release in June 2010. Stroma are pleased to announce that due to much further development that coincides with impending Building Regulations and the Code for Sustainable Homes updates, FSAP 2009 gained approval by CLG on the 29th September 2010 and is now available for release.
FSAP 2009 will prove to be an invaluable tool for all architects, house builders and On Construction Energy Assessors (OCEAs) and is available free of charge to download. For certified assessors who produce the required calculations contributing to the energy efficiency of a building, Stroma's FSAP 2009 software presents an excellent calculation/assessment tool for both individual and multiple dwellings. FSAP 2009 delivers fast - efficient data input, adjustments and data duplication, plus the simplified lodgement feature that incorporates address matching and lodgement management facilities, at the click of a button. Only certified assessors can lodge EPCs; lodgement via FSAP 2009 will be available early 2011 inline with developments by CLG and Landmark.
Driven by Stroma's expertise and experience surrounding Building Regulations and the sustainability arena in general, in-house software developers were perfectly placed to build a brand new leading software, that accommodates today's technologies and future legislative developments. For example FSAP 2009 delivers adjustable calculation tools that enable the user to work towards the required 25% reduction to the allowable Dwelling Emission Rate compared to the 2006 version of Part L, and the inclusion of manufacturers' data for meeting the stringent U-Value limits, both of which are some of the major amendments in the new Part L Regulations being released.
