The Second National Portfolio Management Conference

Following the success of the 2009 conference Ten Alps Events is proud to present ‘Portfolio Management 2010’, the premiere national conference focusing on the application of Best Practice Portfolio Management in the public and private sector. The conference will take place at the Business Design Centre, for a select audience of 220 delegates on 31st March 2010.

The focus for 2010

In 2009 the OGC Portfolio Management Guidance (Public Consultation Draft) was launched and the focus of the conference was “What is Portfolio Management”? We are now in a different place, people have been using it and getting real benefits from it, so with this in mind the 2010 Conference focuses on showcasing examples of what these people have done, the experiences they have gained and the lessons they have learned.

In 2010 the Portfolio Management Guidance will be upgraded to form a formal part of the OGC’s Best Practice Guidance. Craig Kilford and Stephen Jenner are confirmed as co-authors of this next stage and we are very pleased that both will be in attendance during the 2010 Conference. Craig Kilford will be chairing the Conference and Stephen Jenner will be speaking.

Finally, we are very excited to announce that Portfolio Management 2010 will be delivered by Ten Alps Events in partnership with www.hearbestpractice.com and fortunately we have managed to catch all the lead authors of other Best Practice under one roof. They include Andy Murray (PRINCE2®), Rod Sowden (MSP/P3M3) and Sue Vowler (P3O).

Products and Services

The sessions will be complemented by a selection of leading products and services available to aid successful delivery of Portfolio Management approaches.
