More from Sanctuary Group

Sanctuary Care is delighted to announce the appointment of Len Merton as Head of Care.

Len has a proven track record in the care sector, having previously worked in a senior operations role within Sunrise Senior living - a major player in the older persons market.

Although he will be based at Sanctuary Care’s state-of-the-art Hatfield Nursing Home in Hertfordshire, Len will spend much of his time at the organisation’s care homes and its Worcester head office.

Speaking about his new role Len said: “I am passionate and excited about the challenge of leading Sanctuary Care to be the best care provider in the market, delivering a person-centred service and providing leading standards for others to follow.”

Len will be involved in leading Sanctuary’s older persons care homes to achieve high quality standards to be best in the class, whilst maximising revenue and controlling costs. He will be supported by a team of 1,500 staff.
