Stroma is pleased to feature in this week’s NHS247 Solutions for a Sustainable Health Environment documentary. The show will broadcast on Sky Channel 166 and Freesat Channel 402 tonight at 7.30pm, and Sunday 7th February 2010 at 6pm (repeat).
Presented by Georgina Burnett and featuring Sir Ian McAllister CBE, Chairman of the Carbon Trust, the documentary looks at how the healthcare sector can meet government energy efficiency and carbon reduction targets. As Europe’s largest employer and the greatest public sector contributor of UK CO² emissions (producing an estimated 3% of the national output) the NHS must place sustainability at the top of its healthcare agenda. Solutions for a Sustainable Health Environment tackles why and how this can be achieved.
Rob Coxon, Director of Stroma, will appear on the show as guest speaker, to discuss Stroma’s energy and carbon reduction approaches for the health sector. Rob comments: “As specialists in all aspects of building performance analysis and improvement, Stroma can help NHS Managers to cut energy costs and reduce carbon emissions, without compromising daily operations. We can help meet reduction targets through measures that are essentially self-financing.”
Tune in tonight (Sky 166, Freesat 402) to hear more about Stroma’s full range of services and approach to sustainability within the healthcare sector.
