Basildon Borough Council visits Anglian
Anglian was delighted to play host to leaseholder and tenant representatives from Basildon Borough Council when they recently visited their head office in Norwich.
Following the successful award of Basildon’s latest window and doors contract to Anglian, the purpose of the trip was for Basildon representatives to find out more about the way Anglian work and how they manufacture their products.
During their factory visit, the representatives and members of the council were shown how their window and doors were manufactured, which was off particular interest to the tenants and leaseholders as these products are currently being installed to homes as part of their Decent Homes refurbishment programme.
Leaseholder representative Maureen Matthews commented ‘ I really enjoyed the visit, it provided a useful insight into how Anglian provide their service to the council and it was good for me to see how the contractors work.’
Contract Manager Maureen Gregg commented ‘’ It was great to provide our visitors with a real insight into our company and provide them with the opportunity to meet all those who are involved in delivering their refurbishment programme. By placing them on the factory floor, it also gave them a chance to see ‘step by step’ how the products are taken from glass to insulation.’’
Anglian has worked with Basildon Borough Council as their replacement window and doors contractor for the past 17 years.
