Capita’s 16-19 Learning and Skills Funding Transfer Seminar provides an interactive forum for delegates to receive the latest updates and practical guidance on the changes to the delivery of 16-19 provision.
With effect from April 2010 the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) will cease to exist and responsibility for the provision of 16-19 learning will pass to local authorities. Action must be taken now to ensure the new arrangements are in place to meet this deadline.
Managing the transfer of 16-19 commissioning will require detailed strategic planning and effective collaborative working to ensure councils meet the needs and demands of their learners.
